Free papercutting template

With everything that is currently going on and our need to social distance and keep ourselves occupied at home I have decided to make one of my papercutting templates available for FREE download. This template features 2 pot plant designs and a set of instructions so you can make your very own papercut.

I think it’s important to keep a positive mindset during these difficult times and doing something creative is a really fun way to keep yourself occupied and the good vibes rolling. I’ll also be putting up a video tutorial for one of the designs featured in this template on my instagram so make sure you check it out.

To get started simply download my Papercut Pot Plant Instructions and Templates and away you go. I’d also love to see your creations so please tag me in any photos. Happy papercutting everyone!

Upcoming workshops – Mindful Mandalas

I’m excited to announce I will be running two workshops at Gallery 1855 in late April/early May. In both workshops you will learn the intricate art of paper cutting whilst creating a papercut  mandala. I’ll be running some shorter sessions aimed at teens where I will teach you all the tips and tricks of papercutting and you’ll cut out one of my original templates. The second workshop is a little longer and aimed at those 16+ years where you’ll also have the option to design your own mandala.

This workshop is a great introduction to paper cutting in which I will demonstrate cutting techniques and discuss the various skills used to create wonderful patterns and shapes. The repetitive actions of this workshop provide a focused and mindful space, as you use the scalpel to to slowly reveal your mandala once cut at a time.
