Work featured in the exhibition, “Stillness”, uses repetitive hand cut patterns to reflect our busy lives. However instead of provoking anxiety, their composition is peaceful and soothing. They encourage us to find our own balance and stillness.
The works are hand cut from Fabriano Accademia paper and spray painted black. The backgrounds are ink on Arches watercolour paper. Each papercut is also available as an archival giclee print.
