This Sunday (30th Nov) I will be having a stall at the A Sunday In November market in Angaston. It should be a great day of art and crafters, live music and yummy nibbles. I will be having several of my papercuts for sale as well as screenprints, lights, cards, ornaments and bunting! Making screenprinted bunting is something I have been keen on for a little while now so was very excited to have finally been able to do it.
For the pattern, I adapted one of my papercut designs and then took it to the folks at Tooth and Nail for a silk sceen service, including coating the screen with emulsion and exposing it. After my screen was ready to go the fun really kicked off with choosing all the awesome colours I wanted to use. It wasn’t long before my drying rack began to fill up….
The weather was fortuitously warm so my prints were drying at an incredible rate. I was itching to see how it would all turn out so set about cutting out my triangles.
Soon I had a stack of printed triangles and it was time to string a set of bunting together!!!
Each string of bunting has two flags of each colour, with a total of eight flags and is just under 2m. Hope to see you on Sunday!
